Multi-Layer Watermarking
Stack up to 3 independent watermark layers. Position each at any of 9 anchor points with precise scale, opacity, and margin control.
Version 3.4 · Now on Windows & macOS
Professional desktop watermarking for photographers, agencies, and creators. Layered watermarks, camera-settings overlays, SEO-compliant filenames, and film-grade filters, all in one batch run. All offline. All private. All fast.
Why it exists
Most watermarking tools are browser tabs, cloud services, or throwaway apps that upload your images before they are even protected. Slow, limited, and weak where it matters most: control, privacy, and repeatability.
Watermark Gienie is a real desktop application that runs on your machine, Windows or Mac. No subscription. No upload limits. No waiting for a server response. Your images, your computer, your rules.
New in version 3.3 & 3.4
Three features shipped since the last major release. Every one earns its place the same way everything else in this app does: a real workflow problem, solved once, running automatically from then on.
New in 3.4
Every export can now carry its own shot data. Shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focal length, lens, and camera body, read straight from the embedded EXIF and drawn as a clean icon panel directly on the image.
Vertical or horizontal layout, lower-left or lower-right placement, full control over colour, box fill, and opacity. Nothing to type per image: it reads every file's real metadata automatically, and skips any field a shot doesn't have.
New in 3.3
Every export can be renamed automatically from your image's own IPTC/XMP keywords: brand-keyword-city.webp. Lowercase, hyphenated, stop-words dropped, capped at 50 characters.
A Brand Identifier field anchors every name, protected terms keep compound brands like DoWest whole, and client deliverables keep their original filenames while the web/social set gets the SEO treatment, all in one batch.
Photo Filters
Black & White, High Contrast, Warm Tone, Cool Tone, Desaturated, Film Grain, Vintage Fade, and Crushed Blacks, each at a variable intensity from 0–100%, applied before your watermarks are composited so the grade sits under everything else exactly like it would in your normal edit.
A whole batch, one look, in one pass. No round-trip to Lightroom for a quick delivery set.

Your output folder opens the moment your batch is done.
Point to your input folder. Choose to preview the first 10 images or load the full folder. Drag and drop individual files also supported.
Set watermark layers, border, output format, compression quality, EXIF metadata, and output paths. Save the entire setup as a preset for future use.
Click Start Batch Process. Monitor progress in real time. Open your output folder directly from the completion panel the moment the run finishes.
Under the hood
Watermark Gienie is a native Windows desktop application built on Electron, React, and Vite. Processing uses local canvas rendering. Output stays on your machine from first load to final export.

Yes. Watermark Gienie runs natively on Windows 10/11 and macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel). Linux is not currently supported.
